Smith & Wesson Model 25-5 (.45 Colt Ctg).

This is an earlier serial numbered SMITH & WESSON MODEL 25-5 in .45 Colt with VERY light use actual use but a fair amount of carry. Serial number is in the N736xxx range.

This gun features the original Target Trigger, Target Hammer and Target grips. 6.5" barrel is pinned; Red ramp on front sight. HEAVY BARREL

Condition is excellent mechanically. Cosmetically, showing about 90% bluing, with most bluing wear confined to the barrel end and front cylinder and drag line. No wear to the cylinder or bore. Cylinder is tight and trigger pull is very smooth on both Double and Single action. Positive hammer fall. Cylinder indexes perfectly. This is an excellent Model 25-5 which had a reputation for accuracy and smooth action.
