U.S WWI ROCKISLAND ARSENAL MDL 1903 MILITARY RIFLE

Offered here is a nice U.S. W W I Rockisland Arsenal Model 1903 Military Rifle w/ Leather Sling. 30-06 caliber. Serial number is 239128. Barrel length approx. 23 1/4" and overall length is approx. 43 1/2". Action is good and works easily. Bore is also good but needs cleaning. Top of barrel near front sight is marked " R.I.A. 2-17 "( see picture ). Other markings are as shown in the pictures. Wood has some minor superficial nicks and gouges as would be expected but otherwise is in quite good condition. The leather sling has some wear as would be expected but is in good condition with no rips. The sling is marked " 1918 ". Please see the pictures which will add to the description. -- NOTE : An FFL /C&R will be required.-- Standard 3 day inspection period.
