Remington 40X Benchrest in .222 Rem, single shot bolt rifle, blued action and 27 inch non-Remington heavy bbl (.885 at muzzle), Walnut stock, includes set of high bases and rings good for 1 inch OR 30MM scopes, also 1 scope block mounted on bbl. Rifle has had light usage, rate at 95% with only minor marks and wear – no box – see photos.
Here is what we know: Bolt stop and safety have been removed, has adjustable match type trigger currently set at 2 oz, bore is perfect, no heavy marks on bolt face, serial # is 44852B.
*** Sorry – rifle from an estate – we DO NOT know any more then what is stated above – who did work, etc. But I did measure bbl twist using the cleaning rod method and it came to about- 14. We also know this is a excellent, top notch 40-X!!
