Very fine detailed Remington 1858 engraved revolver with gold accents on the cylinder, rammer,and screws. Gun locks up tight, and functions very well. Don't think that it was used very much. Bore has very good rifling, but metal is dark.Very good walnut grips. Under barrel is stamped: ASM BLACK POWDER ONLY .44CAL.ITALY. Engraving covers the barrel, frame, cylinder, hammer , and lower rammer.
