This is a super nice Colt commando 38 special with a 4 inch barrel. The original finish is perfect on this gun as are the plastic grips. There are couple of very small marks anywhere on the gun ,with no blue wear, scratches ,dings or dents.manufactured date on this particular gun is 1942-43. The last patent date on the barrel is marked October 1926. The gun is 99% all we are missing with this fine gun is the box.Do not confuse this with the later production commando.
