Serial number 086938xx. Marlin made these carbines from 1. This one was made in 1992. These are hard to find in the 45 auto caliber. This semi-auto rifle has a 16 1/2 inch micro groove barrel, sandblasted steel receiver, wood stock with sling swivels and a rubber buttpad. Overall length is 35 1/2 inches and the gun weighs just under 7 lbs. This one has the original factory 7 round Marlin magazine. Plus magazines from most Colt 1911 type handguns will fit this carbine. The gun is in excellent condition. Bore is bright like new. Finish is beautiful, no pitting anywhere. Wood is excellent. The carbine has been shot some, we did install a new buffer and recoil spring.
