Winchester model 1894 25-35 WCF Sadllering Carbine, serial # 790662, manufactured in 1917. 20" barrel with good bore with just some minor frosting within the grooves. Barrel magazine very dark brown patina with generous traces of original blue in protected areas with the action and buttplate a much lighter grayish brown. The receiver has three extra holes on the left side which are filled with replacement screws. The metal shows some light pitting and handling marks and some rough edges around the magazine cap. The gumwood stock and forend has been cleaned leaving wood modestly shy of the metal with an abundance of light handling marks. Handling marks and raised specs of an added light varnish. The carbine is fitted with a replacement high post brass front sight and an express style rear sight. All in all a good condition saddlering carbine in a not so common caliber.
