Description: Here is an attractive, serviceable and thoroughly traditional S&W .357 Military and Police, numbered Model 13, Fourth Engineering change. From its BPN serial number prefix, it was manufactured in 1992, a year when Smith & Wesson delivered a substantial number of revolvers to the Australian Federal Police. It served overseas, possibly with the AFP. Century Arms’s import stamp is on the side plate, and cannot be removed without running afoul of the 1968 Gun Control Act, serial number alteration level violation. Manufacturer is Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA. Construction is entirely steel, with period style Herretts Walnut Grips. Type is traditional double and single action revolver, hammer nose firing pin ignition with transfer bar safety device. Frame is K Medium, with Square Butt grip frame. Chambering is .357 Remington Magnum and .38 Smith & Wesson Special calibers interchangeably, with a cylinder capacity of 6 rounds. Barrel is One Piece 4 inch Heavy 1:18.75 six groove right hand rifling. Sight is barrel integral solid matte rib serrated blade front, with frame integral fixed notch rear. Trigger and hammer are original color casehardened .310 smooth faced combat trigger with .265 service serrated spur hammer. This 13-4’s surface detractions are moderate, principally holster and rack wear on the muzzle and top, with freckling on the grip frame back strap and toning to the trigger and hammer sides. We rate this 13 as Very Good, 75 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, should suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, cylinder chambers, and mechanism are all bright and clean. Blast effect to the underside of the frame top strap directly above the barrel's forcing cone is minimal, only an etchy area with no depth that traverses the width of the top strap as the photos show. Cylinder face to forcing cone gap measures .008; and these facts, coupled with the moderate blue wear to the ejector rod, indicates to us that this revolver has not undergone very much firing, certainly not with many magnum rounds. Double action trigger pull is smooth and consistent; hammer travels fully 15 degrees on all six positions in double action after the cylinder times into place. On single action, the hammer travels an additional 35 degrees on all six after timing. The single action trigger pull is a crisp and original 4 pounds. Lateral play to the cylinder is negligible. Hammer nose or firing pin is factory, but bright blue armorer replacement. We're offering this attractive, serviceable and collectable Model 13-4 Heavy Barrel for only $ 469.00 Not transferable to civilian residents of California, the District of Colombia, or Massachusetts. 2% discount if payment is with USPS Money Order & Not Credit Card. Any ammunition or personnel in our photos are Not included.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
