The barrel and receiver are finished in a beautiful satin rust blue . Master engraver Lee Griffiths has done outstanding work on the bottom metal with flowing acanthus leaf scroll surrounding a bulino game scene of a giant African bull elephant on the Savanna. The detail is simply georgeous.

The classic style stock is from dark colored California walnut with truly spectacular grain running straight from the ebony forearm tip through the pistol grip and to the butt. The trap door grip cap is blued with more acanthus scroll engraving. A shadow-line cheekpiece and wrap-around checkering on the grip surfaces are executed with exqui attention to detail.

This rifle comes in a Ray Sterck, best quality, oak and leather case with a royal blue canvas and leather, zippered travel cover. The accessories are by J. Lozito and include horn handled cleaning rod, nitre-blued oil & grease bottles and a top grade leather sling with quick detach swivels.
