Barrels have been cut to 18 1/2 inches, the shotgun measures 35 1/4 inches in total length. The barrels in overall deep plum, brown patina with minor oxidation staining. Barrel had some minor pitting, left barrel has four medium sized pits, right hand side looks pretty good overall. The gun is 2 3/4 inch chambered. Receiver is brown patina as well, # 2 frame. Receiver barrel lock is good and tight and excellent trigger break. The checkered round knob pistol grip buttstock rates good to very good with minor overall dings and handling marks and is now devoid of finish, there are two synthetic repairs at the left and right lower edge of the stock where it meets the frame. The splinter style forend rates very good with minor dings and handling marks and appears to have nearly have all of its original finish. Overall a very tight honest gun that is a shame to of had the barrels cut down, would make a very good woodcock gun or home defense purposes.
