THIS IS AN UNUSUALLY LIGHT WEIGHT CLASSIC FOX FIELD GRADE HUNTING GUN IN FINE SHOOTING CONDITION. THE 28" BARRELS ARE CHOKED MOD AND FULL. 2 5/8" CHAMBERS, EXCELLENT BORES. 13 1/2" LENGTH OF PULL, WEIGHS JUST 6 3/4 POUNDS! SERIAL #81XXX, MADE IN 1918. OVERALL FINE ORIGINAL CONDITION, WITH A SMALL PIECE OF MATCHING WOOD SPLICED IN AT THE TOP LEFT OF THE FOREND. NICE LIGHT HUNTING GUN THAT CARRIES LIKE A 16, AND SHOOTS LIKE A 12! SHIP TO FFL OR C&R. RST LOW PRESSURE SHELLS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL PRE WW2 GUNS. LEGAL REQUIREMENTS: All cartridge firing firearms must be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer in your state. Buyer to supply a signed copy of local dealer’s license before shipment will be made. A C&R License is acceptable for C&R firearms, (guns determined to be C&R’s by ATF and/or guns known to be at least 50 years old). Antique firearms and replicas require buyer to supply proof of age.
