The Winchester Model 70 is a bolt action sporting rifle. It holds an iconic place in American sporting culture and has been appreciated by shooters since it was introduced in 1936, earning the name "The Rifleman's Rifle" The Model 70 has a similar action design to a Mauser and the earlier Winchester Model 54.

90%+ bluing remains on firearm, only wear is on very edges of muzzle and minor spots under the barrel. Approximately 70-80% of finish remains on stock, most marks are superficial but there are some chips in the wood on left side of butt. Bore of firearm is bright like a mirror with very strong rifling.

Also mounted is a vintage Redfield base and rings, also mounted is original sling swivel studs.
