Shoppers please note that the grip screws and nuts are Not Included. Here are specialized factory grips for one of the most prolifically produced revolvers of the 1960s, the RG14. Parts Manufacturer was Rohm Gesontheim of Germany, assembly and frame production by RG Industries in Miami Florida. Owners should be sure that your revolver is an RG14, no model number suffix. The RG14 had a screw in cylinder pin, and its grip frame was more like a round butt Smith & Wesson. The RG14S, by contrast, had a spring retained cylinder pin that did not screw into place, and its grip frame was more like a square butt Smith & Wesson. These Grips will Not Fit an RG14S, Will Not Fit an RG23; Will Not Fit an RG24; Will Not Fit the handlebars of a Schwinn Bicycle. They will only fit RG14 revolvers chambered in .22 Long Rifle with a round butt grip frame and a screw in cylinder pin. Construction is brown plastic, checkered texture, with RG logo either molded into, or affixed to, the top of each panel. Surface detractions are minimal, only faint scouring and streaking on the butt edges and some dulling to the finish. Both these sets came from an old collection in Northern Illinois. These have never been easy for us to find any time we needed them. Often one of the RG14 revolvers we sold 40 years ago will come wandering in to our store with its grips broken.
