One of the Special run of 5000 units in stainless steel This pistol features a 4-3/4" barrel and fixed sights. The receiver is rollmarked with Bill Ruger's signature and the right side of the barrel is marked "1 of 5000". The black checkered grips have the red Ruger medallion on the right panel. Condition is excellent and the gun remains new and unfired. It comes in the original cardboard box (the hinged lid has separated) that is in turn inside a special "salt cod" wood box. The original manual and paperwork are included and even the original outer shipping carton is there. This collectors piece was among the very first of the famous Ruger .22 automatics to be manufactured using stainless steel.
