The barrel was made either by Askens or Marqart it is 26" air guaged and high polished new only one round fired through it on a Mauser 98 action with a Remington style safety and jeweled bolt and magazine plate. Hand cut floor plate release just foreward of the trigger. The gun is on a French Walnut Stock made and hand checkered by Dan Martin. The Leupold Scope 3-9X40 with AO is the early gold ring series before VariX, and is clear and crisp. The Buehler mount and rings make this gun just such a beauty and quality you can't let go for this price. Actual piece is pictured.
