Pre-ban Polytech model AKS-762 in caliber 7.62 x 39. This model features the rare and very desirable GALIL style side folding stock, hardwood furniture with a checkered grip, threaded barrel, and the original box ( no serial number on it) that it came in. This rifle is in EXCELLENT TO LIKE NEW 99 percent plus condition inside and out. It has NEVER been fired. I am the second owner of this safe queen; the original owner also stated it had never been fired, only resided comfortably in his safe as part of his AK collection. I, too have NEVER fired it. It has only the minutest of handling marks (including where the side folg stock comes close to the body), and extremely minor nicks and scratches. The Bolt, carrier, and gas piston show these statements to be true, and the rifle's original finish reveals the rifle to be LIKE NEW, as well. An unusual feature is the pristne bolt has no serial number, as well as the non spring loaded firing pin...the original owner stated it had been purchased this way. The rifle comes with two factory steel 30 round magazines.
The original box has obvious signs of age, with a small tear in the upper left portion of it, as well as stains on it.
It includes a cleaning kit, sling, and scraper tool. Price is $1600.00, OBO, plus a flat CONUS $22.00 for shipping and insurance. The rifle will ship from my FFL/dealer to you FFL/dealer.
