Springfield sporter I purchased planning to make into a nice custom rifle but have decided to focus energies an budget elsewhere. Project rifle includes the following items:

Remington high serial number action drilled and tapped with gloss scope bases New bolt handle for scope clearance (requires some additional minor fitting) Two groove sporterized barrel Bishop wood stock (has been bedded but requires more fitting to seat action properly) Stock has had a small crack repaired below bolt shroud LaPour custom bolt shroud with three position safety (new and requires fitting and bluing by gunsmith) Timney featherweight trigger (new) Original trigger Weaver bases (new)
