Here is a very attractive specimen of Glock’s Compact model 23 Pistol chambered in .40 S&W Caliber. This is a Third Generation and finger inlets on the grip frame. The 23 is the mid-sized Compact, concealable but more controllable than its smaller siblings. It was the original Pocket Rocket of the late 1980s. Barrel length is 3 3/4 inches; weight empty is just under 24 ounces; and the maximum thickness is 1 1/16 inch. It comes with a total of one ban period, Law Enforcement marked factory 13 shot magazine. This Glock served light duty with New England Law Enforcement. Sights are original factory issue 3 dot Trijicon night sights. From our own dark room inspection, we rate them at 50 percent strength luminosity. Trigger pull is on the original setting of 8 pounds, double action only striker fired, of course. From its DGA serial number prefix, this Glock 23 was manufactured in September of 1999. Surface detractions are moderate, principally holster contact whitening on the front area of the slide, and whitening to the magazine release lever edges, and edge scouring on the magazine floorplate. We rate it as Very Good, 80 to 85 percent vicinity; photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We estimate it has been fired fewer than 1000 rounds during its career, no rounds at all for a Glock. Replacement price on this pistol in our area, if a person can even find one, is $600 or more. We're offering the New England Glock 23 in the photos, however, for only $ 389.00.
