Here is the tried and true Remington 870 Magnum in its economy-finished Express configuration, 20 inch Rem-Choke Barrel with Rifle Sights, matte blue finish and checkered hardwood buttstock and forend. From this shotgun’s original barrel’s DN date code and its A868000M range serial number, it was manufactured in 1993. This is a local shotgun we got from its original owner. Surface detractions are minimal, faint contact evidence to the buttstock and faint whitened streaks on a couple of places on its receiver. We rate it as Excellent, since no more than 10 percent of its surfaces are affected, in our estimation. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is certainly Excellent mechanically; bore, chamber and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent; and from its condition and our knowledge of its exclusive owner, it has been fired fewer than 50 times. Magazine extender ups its capacity to 7 + 1 rounds on 2-3/4 inch Shells, or 6 + 1 rounds on 3 inch Magnums. Shoppers please understand that the original configuration with the original 4 shot tube has been modified and a person cannot go back to the original 5 shot capacity without custom work. Note, too, the Extended Improved Cylinder stainless Rem-Choke. Replacement pricing on this shotgun’s prototype 870 Police ranges upwards of $700 per unit.
