I have a US Springfield 45/70 issued to a famly friends great grandfather. He waqs in the Ohio Militia. The weapon is in 90% good condition and is shootable. It has the class C rear sight, original cleaning rod in the stock, saddle bar with saddle ring on the left side. Weapon has a 21" bbl overall length is 41". This is not a rifle, but a carbine issued to horse soldiers. Ser#2385xx There is no cartouch visable on the stock.
