At the demise of our much loved Interarms company in the late 1990s, not all Rossi products got coopted by Braztech Importers. The finest Rossi products, the 1892 Winchester Copies and this specimen of the 59 Winchester Copy, the Rossi 59, were taken over by LSI, then of Alexandria, presently from Nevada, the company that still imports the excellent quality Howa rifles and shotguns from Japan. This is the LSI / Rossi slide action .22 Magnum, and this specimen is in Excellent Codnition. It has a very nice, richly grained dark Brazilian Walnut buttstock and forend. Its only surface detractions are white streaking on the slide bar, and that is entirely normal. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are bright, clean, and excellent. Barrel length is a credible and original 23 inches; and the buttstock's length of pull is the original, standard 13 1/4 inches. This is a late model 59 that has the manual firing pin block safety mounted on top of its breech bolt. These are, as far as we know, discontinued.
