1886 Carbine that is complete and in absolutely pristine condition inside and out.Barrel is marked .50-100-450. Every part of the rifle is as new. Bore, action, screw heads, spring tention in the magazine, funtion, ect is as new. Rifle was made in 1894 so it's an antique and can ship to anyone. According to the Cody Museum, this rifle was made in 1894, left the factory in 1895 as a Sporting rifle in 40-65(?) caliber. It was later converted into a SRC. Obviously a restored rifle, NO overpolishing anywhere, all lettering is crisp and sharp. Barrel is marked .50-100-450 and the barrel is mic'd at .510. I have never shot the rifle with its intended chambering but 450gr 50-70 rnds ate a steel target at 100 yds with no problems, and was a kicker, cannot imagine this piece with 100 grs of FFG or .50 Alaskan, a super rifle for Alaska! Light, strong and fast. I contacted a major rifle restoration company as what the guns worth and where they would sell a piece like mine and I am underpriced at my asking price. 3 day no BS inspection so you have nothing to lose. It's my understanding SRC parts are hard to come by so the piece is still worth the sum of it's parts and the cost of the restoration. A rifle to be enjoyed and shot!!
