We custom design, modify, and build the original Russian SAIGA AK74 5.45x39mm rifle into the SAIGA-XTR for those who simply want the best! The Russian 5.45x39mm caliber is known for excellent accuracy with an effective range of 800 yards. Each SAIGA AK74 is transformed, “one-at-a-time”, by our skilled American craftsmen into a precision tactical rifle. First, we locate the trigger guard next to the magazine latch and install a customized G2 trigger group for a crisp 3.5# trigger pull. We replace the original axis pin and bolt hold open springs with improved models. We then apply GUN-KOTE™, the premier firearms metal coating & finish. This $175 thermal cured finish sets our custom SAIGA-XTR AK74 apart from the very beginning. Premium GUN-KOTE™ is far superior to parkerized, blued, or air dry “paint finishes” in both durability and performance. It was first specified by the U.S. Military for use on SOCOM Special Sniper Weapons (SPR’s) in 2003. GUN-KOTE™ satin matte black finish protects metal parts from rust, corrosion, & scratches and will not break down, peel or dissolve. In fact, once applied and thermal-cured, the only way to remove it is through abrasive blasting. GUN-KOTE™ is resistant to all known gun solvents, oils, and thinners. GUN-KOTE™ is a highly specialized, hard, abrasion resistant coating that meets ALL MILITARY SPECIFICATIONS for protective metal coatings. GUN-KOTE™ is formulated to provide excellent impact resistance, lubricity (meets military dry firing specs), heat dissipation, chemical resistance, corrosion protection, durability, and scratch resistance. It is specially formulated for salt corrosion protection and meets the US Military requirements for "Resistant to Chemicals". GUN-KOTE™ has outstanding heat dissipating qualities, outstanding temperature variation durability (+800 degrees F to -300 degrees F), and outstanding lubrication qualities. The USA mfg. M4 target stock adjusts to 4 positions with an aluminum tube for maximum strength, rubber butt pad for shooting comfort, plus an ambidextrous sling adapter on the stock. We thread the original CHROME LINED barrel with mil-spec 14:1 left hand metric threads. The TAPCO RAZR™ tactical entry muzzle break has multiple heat treated steel pronged tips shaped to penetrate wood, sheet-rock, and glass. The UTG® tactical quad-rail system is made from aircraft grade aluminum alloy, has four mil-spec picatinny rails, and black rubber protective rail guards. The Israeli military pistol grip has ergonomic finger groves, hinged bottom plate and battery storage tube. The CQB scope features 1 to 4 power magnifications, 30mm tube for extra brightness, and 24mm emerald coated objective lens. The 4.5” of eye relief provides for comfortable sighting. The etched glass circle dot allows for fast and precise target acquisition. The center dot adjusts to 2 MOA for precise aiming with premium zero lockable and zero resettable target turrets. You have red/green dual illumination for enhanced target acquisition. The permanent etched glass black circle dot is always available, with or without batteries! Scope has a built in sunshade and includes flip-open lens caps plus QD heavy duty rings. It is built on a true strength platform, completely sealed and nitrogen filled, shockproof, fogproof and rainproof! We include a QD (quick detachable) side-rail mount with locking lever system. Once installed to the side-rail mount, your scope can be added or removed in just seconds. Plus, this system allows your scope to remain zeroed!
