It is the older tang safety Mark I. The wood has a hand rubbed oil finish done by Al Lind, head of Custom Gun Makers Guild. Jewelled bolt, Timney Trigger, Super high gloss blueing looks awesome with the gloss leupold scope. It is glass bedded, and will shoot sub 1/2 inch groups all day. See the photo of the group. I have several custom rifles that won't group like this gun will. Has a 22 inch hand lapped factory barrel, that shoots a 140 grain nosler accubond at 3100 fps! Includes brand new Leupold VX3 2.5-8X36 and ruger rings. These are very rare and this gun is absolutely gorgeous. I have put a great deal of time into this project, and it has been totally worth it. You won't find a nicer one anywhere.
