Buyers, however, may take any number of additional small light items, grips, magazines, scopes, anything small with no additional shipping charges. Most Smith & Wesson Revolvers manufactured after 1996 have Round Butt Grip Frames. Almost all the N Frame, Large Frame Revolvers manufactured prior to that date had square butt grip frames. Here are correctly configured replacement grips for any Smith & Wesson N frame or Double Action M&P Large Frame Revolver with Square Butt Grip Frame Only, like the Model 1917, Model of 1950 .44 Special, and many others. These are dark stained checkered walnut, very attractive. We found these in an old Southern warehouse, and we believe they were manufactured by Sile some time in the 1970s. Grip screw and escutcheon are blue milled steel. These will not fit round butt variants; if you’re not sure which yours is, please see the comparative photo we have included. We’re offering these fine grips, the ones in the photos or their identical mates, by the set for only $ 25.00.
