THIS IS AN EARLY S&W MODEL 41 22LR S/AUTO TARGET PISTOL. IT HAS THE 7 3/8" BARREL WITH REMOVEABLE MUZZLE BRAKE AND COCKED INDICATOR. IT IS IN THE CORRECT 2PC BOX WITH 2-10RD MAGS, ONE STEEL MUZZLE WEIGHT AND THE MUZZLE CAP THAT IS INSTALLED IF THE BRAKE IS REMOVED. ALSO HAS THE MANUAL. THE GUN HAS A BLUE FINISH, ADJUSTABLE REAR SIGHT AND WALNUT TARGET GRIPS. THE SER.NO. IS 40xxx WHICH DATES IT AROUND 1961. THE GUN IS PRISTINE EXCEPT FOR A SMALL SPOT(3/8"X1/8") ON THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE LEFT SIDE OF SLIDE JUST ABOVE THE TRIGGER. THE SLIDE LOCK RUBBED IT THERE. 98-99% EVERY WHERE ELSE. THE MAGS SHOW SOME FINISH WEAR AND THE GRIPS ARE EXCELLENT
