I'm a pro stock refinisher and have redone the stock to taste: semi-gloss finish; waterproof; field worthy. I shot the gun once and since it's sat as a home protection unit, gathering dust, if you will. I then made a conversion on the shotgun to the more tactical stuff and have, therefore, this pretty stock taking up space. Likely the stock will fit any 870, but I don't know that. Please do your homework before purchasing :-) Also available is the original, black Remington recoil pad-- also like new. All in all, a fine piece of what I believe to be genuine American walnut.
