Description: This auction is for an ICOM IC-A20 VHF Air Band Transceiver. The transceiver includes an attached battery and wall charger. The transceiver features VOR reception for navigation systems, Weatherproof and dust-tight case with molded frame design, 5W PEP(typical) output power, 16 user-programmable memory channels, and 720 COM channels and 200 NAV channels. I've successfully tested this transceiver just prior to posting and I was able to receive the KFOE (Forbes Field) ATIS frequency 128.25 with readable quality (3X3) nearly 10 miles from the field with just the antenna it comes with while in a basement. This transceiver has a built-in course deviation indicator to direct the user to the locked on VOR station. A print out of the instruction manual is included with purchase. This radio was designed for a small aircraft.
