I will try to detail some of the unique attributes of your Arma Rifle over the standard AK47. First yours is a Bulgarian AK47 with a 1.6mm Semi Automatic Receiver All of the metal parts with the exception of the Bolt Carrier and Bolt have been blasted, Parkerized and then Painted with GunKote brand paint. The Paint is then cured by baking it for 1 hour at 350 degrees. This is one of the finest finishes you will find on a service grade rifle. Next, all of the parts on your gun are hand fitted for quality operation. This also includes the fitting of the Orange Recoil Buffer on the Recoil Rod. This Buffer is not standard on the AK47 and is about $14.00 if you bought it online. The buffer does an important job of preventing the Hardened Bolt Carrier from "Slapping" the hardened Rear Trunion. This is important over the life of the rifle because over time, the vibration from that "Slapping" is likely to cause small cracks to form around the rivets in the receiver thus diminishing the tightness of the rifle and degrading the accuracy. Originally, there was a wire called a "Shepard's Hook" that held the two pins that hold the Trigger and Hammer in. We replaced that wire with a spring steel Retaining Plate. This is for two reasons, one: it makes it much easier to maintain the rifle if needed and two: it holds the pins VERY securely so there is little chance of the trigger or hammer binding or rubbing. This increases longevity and accuracy. The Trigger group is a Tapco G2 single hook trigger group. We smoothed the surfaces to give it that Arma Rifle feel when you pull the trigger. We have found that the extra cost of the Tapco group and the extra time in labor contribute to accuracy and enjoyment (not to mention our pride in building a very high quality service rifle. All of the furniture (what gun guys like to call the fore and rear stock set) is manufactured by CAA or Tapco. We have tested these pieces and have been very happy with the quality and look. Both companies have an excellent reputation in the aftermarket. We choose to use the best accessories to add to the usefulness of our rifles. The barrels on all of our rifles are military grade, chrome lined barrels. This adds 3 to 4 times the barrel life and makes cleaning them a breeze. The muzzle end is threaded for 1/2" x 28. This is the same thread pattern as the AR15. If you change the muzzle break, be sure to get one that has the .30 bore opening. You will notice the 30 Round Magazine on our rifle is a Tapco polymer type. This magazine has a lifetime warranty from Tapco. I find that it is easier to load, feeds better and is lighter than the standard AK47 magazine. You can purchase more of them from me or Robert’s Firearms in Aurora, CO () Last but not least, we test fire every rifle we manufacture before we deliver it. This allows us to make sure that every rifle is up to the quality standards of Arma Rifle. We take pride in setting our standards high. All of these attributes add up to one fine, service grade, AK47. We look forward to producing high quality rifles and making friends along the way. I hope this answered your questions. If not, email me with your questions and I will write back. Thanks for buying the best,
