No SS# From a local estate sale a Winchester Model 36 single shot 9mm bolt action shotgun, also known as a "Garden Gun". Shoots rim fire 9mm shot gun shells (still made by Focchi in three different shot sizes)(five shells are included with the gun). I have shot this little gun and it functions perfectly and although it has a dark bore it patterns nicely. The wood stock has no major cracks or chips and is solid but does have a lot of dents and dings from over 100 years of use. Amazingly the Winchester butt plate is in tact and has no cracks but does have one small chip at the toe (see photos). The metal finish is mostly gone and there is some spoting but no heavy pitting.
