S&W 34-1 2 in Nickel .22 Exc Orig Box 1981

Pinned and recessed, this Nickel Kit Gun – a Model 34-1 – is in its original box with papers. It’s in excellent condition, but not mint condition. There is some toning to the finish although all the nickel is intact. About 20 percent of the cylinder’s surface has less gloss remaining than normal. Casehardening on hammer and trigger is full and strong, not spotty, but LH side of upper trigger has wear from firing. Cylinder front blacking is conspicuous, as the photo shows. Square butt grips are around 90 percent. Stress marking to sight adjustment screw and forward side plate are negligible. Forward sight screw and middle plate screw are not stressed. Bore and mechanism are excellent. We consider this revolver to be Excellent 95%, but photos should be sufficiently detailed for prospective buyers to judge finish grade for themselves.
