This is a Springfield model 1884 chambered in 45-70. The barrel length is 32 5/8 inches long. The metal and wood are in good shape with no major damages, pitting, or rust. The bore is good with plenty rifling left in the barrel. There is a Phillips head bayonet under the barrel and there is a SWP cartouche dated 1891. All parts are original and the serial number is in the 100,000 range.
