****HOW TO BUY****

1. Click the BUY button. It creates the contract and will send us email notification. We'll contact you by phone and/or email.

2. Select an FFL holder near you --and TALK with them to be sure they're available! They'll send us a copy of their FFL and we'll verify it and send a copy of our own in the package with your gun.

3. Send us your payment --or call to pay by credit card.

****PAYMENT****

Our very competitive prices reflect a cash/check/money-order discount. You ARE welcome to use your credit cards, but please understand we'll add the bank and processing fees to the total, and that's 4%.

GunsAmerica encourages the use of USPS Money Orders, and so do we. They only take a couple days to arrive, and as soon as you tell us that's how you're paying, we set the gun safely aside with your name on it!

****A STRANGE ISSUE THAT COMES UP OCCASIONALLY****

We ship ONLY to FFL holders. We fully expect you to understand that your local FFL dealer is going to charge you a fee. Half a moment's thought will remind you that it's NOT "just a few minutes paperwork".

Those few minutes are the ones YOU NOTICE, because you're sitting there filling out Federal forms in his/her shop... but where were you when the delivery came in, the box was unpacked, the gun inspected, serial number verified, 7 fields of data filled into the ATF record for each gun, plus a copy of each of our FFL's exchanged and filed, one set of papers stored with your gun as a separate receipt for you to keep, the gun itself tagged and shelved safely, an email or phone call launched to let you know it had arrived... then the in-store invoice created, NICS check run, and the Federal 4473 explained to you, then your entries double checked and the FFL holder's sections of pages 2 and 3 filled out... oh, THAT paperwork!

There are only so many man-hours in a day, folks. And that pretty well sets the limit on how many guns can go through a store.

And how many minutes are actually spent on each gun might well surprise you.

We figure each one averages the better part of an hour of people's time here, if you add it all up honestly. There are quite a few instances when explanations to novices --or even just pleasant chats-- expand to completely eat up any profit at all. We still enjoy the people, love the guns, and respect our right to own weapons --responsibly.

So, no complaining that you're being charged for a "simple transfer". Set your budget wisely to include the right sort of gun for you, considering your uses for it, the ammo you'll be feeding it, any repairs or modifications you might need, and the people who help keep your supply lines for all that freedom healthy and open.

Good luck --happy shooting!
