This feature revolver is the culmination of 60 years of metallurgical development that began with the Smith & Wesson pilot's revolvers during World War II. We knew that S&W could make such a gun 15 years ago, but we thought it would cost $1500.00, and even now it's a half price bargain. Photo shows a Brand New in box Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum Chief's Special Airlite Military & Police, the 360 M&P with factory Trijicon Front Night Sight and steel cylinder that we had in stock in Springtime 2009. The difference between this and the 360PD is less than 2 ounces. Factory specs are, caliber .357 Magnum; internal transfer bar safety with internal lock and two keys; 5 round capacity; Trijicon Tritium luminous front Night Sight and fixed notch rear sight; weight empty 13.5 ounces; Hogue / S&W Bantam boot style grip; black finish scandium alloy frame and black stainless cylinder. Replacement price on this revolver in our area, if a person can even find one, is well over $800.00.
