This Kalashnikov Pistol is a step up from Century Arms’s WASR series. Instead of Rumanian parts, this Century Arms named model PAP M92PV, CAI SKU number HG3089N, is manufactured in Kragujevak, Serbia, at the Zastava Arms Plant. Construction is entirely steel, with more milled steel parts than the WASRs. Caliber, of course, is 7.62x39. Action is Kalashnikov gas operated, the most durable and rugged semi auto in the world. Gas piston is chrome plated. Forend and adjacent gas tube hand guard are hardwood, and the metal finish is entirely black matte. Barrel is 10 1/4 inch shovel nose type, with welded muzzle collar. Caliber, of course, is 7.62x39. Rate of twist is 1:9.5. Sights are Krinkov style adjustable post and white dot front, with dual step white dot rear, 3 dot sighting picture. Pistol Grip is high impact checkered texture polymer. This pistol comes with a total of two steel preban 30 shot magazines. Weight empty is 6.6 pounds, overall length is 19 inches; and vertical height is only 10 1/2 inches from the top of the rear sight to the end of an in-battery magazine.
