Smith and Wesson #2 Old Model Army Revolver 32 Rimfire cal Bore Gd, Mech VG , Original wood grips VG plus . Has a 4” ribbed barrel with VG plus one line Smith and Wesson markings . Serial#38277, mfg 1865-66 .Serial numbers under 35731 were possible Civil War usage revolver. Metal overall has a very dark aged brown patina finish with fine pitting in areas. Very popular revolver in the civil war and by famous people like Custer who owned a pair , Wild Bill Hickok while marshal in Deadwood carried one.
