Description: Here's a rare and very collectible Remington Rolling Block No. 5 Rifle. It features a 30" round barrel and a straight-grip stock with a half-length forend. I believe it is chambered for the .30-30 WCF, however a buyer should have that verified before firing. It has an open adjustable rear sight and a blade-type front sight. It is marked "Remington Arms - Union Metallic CTG. Co." and the next line reads "Rem. Works Ilion, N.Y. U.S.A. Patd. Oct. 22, 1901." Manufactured between 1901 and 1905. In good condition with a clean bore. This gun's value is listed in the 2012 Standard Catalog of Firearms (page 871) as between $2,250. to $5,750.
