It may have been refinished at some point. The receiver is a reddish bronze color. I am told this is normal due to the type of metal it is made from. The butt plate has a small repair to the upper right area. The wood is in good shape without cracks. Some finish pitting and surface rust. I was advised not to do much to it besides clean it and wipe it down. Looks like there is enough rifling to still spin a bullet. Partial octagon barrel. I am not that familiar with these guns.
