Beyond that, this is the best available, or even the best ever, Medium Frame 3 inch .357 Magnum ever marketed on some folks's view. This is the Ruger GP-100, fixed sights variant with 3 inch tapered lug barrel. It is constructed entirely of stainless steel. Factory specs are as follows. Action is single and double action medium frame revolver; caliber .38 Special and .357 Magnum; 3 inch barrel with full shroud ejector rod; 6 round capacity; transfer bar internal safety; stake-on ramp front sight with frame notch fixed rear sight; stainless service hammer and combat trigger; and Hogue Combat rubber Monogrip with Ruger Logo. Weight empty is a well balanced, pleasant-shooting 35 ounces. Our local competitors who have been able to get any of the stainless variants in the past few years sell them for over $600 apiece. We're offering this one, however, for only $ 539.00.
