Serial # 11. The barrel has a date on the tang 1855,the last digit is faint. The lockplate has an 1855 date to the rear of the plate and a US Springfield marking .The Maynard primer door has a eagle marking . The Maynard primer system is complete and working. These were made from 1 total of 4021 mfgd Metal overall has an aged grey patina finish with fine pitting in areas. The brass triggerguard,buttcap, barrel band and endcap have a patina finish.
