SN1220686. Outstanding Rifle. Popular in the 60s was to convert (then inexpensive) military rifles to Sporters. Fajen stock with a checkered pistol grip. Timnley trigger, Fajen stock with MonteCarlo cheek piece. Great bluing, shortened and crowned barrel with nice hooded front sight. Lyman peep sight. Glass-bedded. Shot it on 10/27 and it is very accurtate with a light trigger...was really fun to shoot. Shot it off hand at 25 yards and shot 10 rounds in a 3" group. Sand bag would produce really tight groups.
