This item has a 7.5” barrel. The bore show some pitting, the rifling is shallow but is still has some shine left to it. The chambers show moderate pitting. The action functions well and locks up tight. The exterior of this firearm shows some very light pitting but mostly has heavy wear in the blueing although some of the original finish remains intact. It has a set of target sight with the front sight having an Ivory insert. The checkering as well as the Colt emblem show wear and are not as crisp as they were brand new but that is to be expected. Overall, for its age this wheel gun is in great shape. Also included is a Colt letter of authenticity for this revolver. Date of Manufacture was 1898 and this is 1 of 64 of these particular revolvers ever produced.
