This is a Mauser Modelo Argentino 1891 Rifle. This antique rifle is chambered for 7.65x53 Argentine ammo and features a 26" barrel with a tangent sight. This rifle appears to have been sporterized at some point with a rubber butt-plate added to help with recoil, as well as a change to the stock. However, it appears to be all original parts with the serial numbers on the receiver, the stock and the trigger all matching. The rifle is in great shape for a gun that is more than 110 years old.
