This is only my second 99, so I'll do the best that I can. Savage called this their heavy rifle, but not bad at all at 8 lb even. Larger stock than other 99s and starting in 1950 heavier thru the comb, but no grooves, sling eyes provided and a 10 5/8" semi-beavertail forearm with only the side panels checkered. Also starting in 1950 drilled & tapped for scope mount. Has a semi-buckhorn rear sight and a gold bead front sight on a raised ramp. Look at the pictures to see what I have for sale.
