US Model 1873 Trapdoor Springfield. 45-70. S/n 173xxx, Faint cartouche on stock, "U" on Bbl band, buttplate marked "US" , it's a bit rusty, graduated rear sight. Action, lock and trapdoor very good to excellent. Same with bore. Barrel seems to be cut. OAL is 221/4 inch. Old repaired longitudinal crack on buttstock below action - almost invisible. As rifle is pre-1899, no FFL necessary and it can be shipped to anyone. The rifle is an antique and will have some scratches and dents after 125 years. More photos are available, and I will take photos of anything on the rifle.
