It is chambered in 11.7 Danish. These were converted in 1896 to centerfire from rimfire. It has a 35 3/8 inch round barrel with excellent rifling. It has an adjustable ladder type rear sight and tapered blade front. The walnut 2 piece stock is in good condition with handling and usage marks also has a crack on the lower right side of the muzzle end of forearm. It has a 12 1/2 inch length of pull to the stamped steel buttplate. Since the 11.7 Danish is an obsolete cartridge, some have fired 45-70 cartridges through them, not a recommend practice.
