This gun is a Colt Government World War I Commemorative 1911 chambered in .45 acp. It has a 5 inch barrel with fixed sights. It comes with one 7 round magazine. It has no box or manuals.
The gun has some minor wearing. Some of the bluing is wearing off in front if the grips, also the front sight has some of the bluing worn off. It also has an idiot scratch on it.
THIS GUN DOES NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL TRIGGER, SIGHTS, BEAVER TAIL, HAMMER AND GUIDE ROD. IT HAS WILSON COMBAT SIGHTS, ED BROWN BEAVER TAIL AND HAMMER, TRADECI TRIGGER AND A AFTERMARKET FULL LENGTH GOD ROD.***THIS GUN IS A EVERYDAY SHOOTER, NOT A COLLECTORS GUN.
On the right side of the gun it says,"1917 world war I commemorative 1967". On the left side of the gun a picture of soldiers storming a pill box is engraved. On the top of the gun it says,"Captain Bradford Ellsworth 306th infantry 77th division U.S.A".Call for more pics.
