HG5587 From our favorite California military marksman comes this very nice Beretta Model 96, chambered in .40 S&W Caliber. From its BER11000, G Suffix serial number range, we estimate it was manufactured in 1996 or 1997. The 96, of course, is the same size specs as the military M-9 or 92FS; Sights are three-dot / refinish configuration, like the original GI pistols. Action is traditional single- and double action, with lock-down, decocking ambidextrous safety levers mounted on the slide. Barrel is 4.9 inch chrome lined, and note that the guide rod is steel, not plastic. Capacity is 10 plus 1, and the pistol comes with a total of two 10 Shot, California Compliant factory magazines. Grips are replacement Trausch, the thinnest available for the Beretta. Weight empty is a well-balanced, easy handling 33.4 ounces. Trigger is Inox .400 smooth face combat type, and note the replacement Inox finish trigger bar and pin. Surface detractions are minimal, only small whitened spots on the trigger guard edges and faint amounts of weakness to the semi-gloss anodized finish on the forward area of the frame. We rate this Model 96 as Excellent, 90 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. This 96 is certainly excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent; and from our knowledge of this pistol and its owner we estimate it has been fired fewer than 1000 rounds, no rounds at all for a Beretta. Replacement pricing on the Model 96 in our neck of the woods is $600 or more, if a person can even find one. We’re offering this one, however, for only $ 439.00. For civilian buyers in jurisdictions where they are not restricted, we will sub LE marked 11 round magazines. Civilian residents of California, District of Colombia, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New York, and Puerto Rico must take the 10 rounders. We had a DAO Conversion set for this pistol at press time, only $49.00, Guns America search terms Beretta DAO Robertson. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $10 lower 48; $30 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority Mail, insured with Delivery Confirmation. Don’t let your buddies use your account, that kind of thing smells like felony level straw purchase attempt. MC/Visa/Discover/USPS MO paid orders shipped same day. 7 day hold on checks.
