Description: Some pieces can be the rarest there is and still not fetch interest; there is a minimal amount of exposure that any firearm or collectable item must have before it comes into demand. Here is the only specimen we have ever seen, a .50 caliber percussion pistol with an 11 inch barrel, and its only marking is on its lock, reads simply Lesikar Gun Co. Since making muzzleloaders from scratch has been on a hobby level in so many cases, we imagine that is the case with this one. At any rate, it is well made, with probably a domestic U.S. barrel fitted with Spanish or Italian lockwork. The Stock is a very nice piece of walnut with an ebony colored cap piece. Barrel is 11 inches long, with a semi-inletted blade front sight and custom milled notch rear sight that is part of the tang piece. Brass trigger guard appears to be custom milled as well. Barrel is 11 inches long, never blued with some original white steel visible next to the walnut. Bore is excellent with no visible pitting, and this pistol came from the estate of a meticulous chemical engineer who maintained his firearms very well. Thimble screw and hammer screw are custom milled, as the photos show. Ramrod is one piece steel, and fits securely enough into a retaining escutcheon that is inlaid into the forend area of the one piece stock. Surface finish is appropriately brown with extensive etchiness but no significant pitting. We classify this unique pistol as Very Good, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically. We’re offering this fine custom grade percussion pistol for only $ 149.95. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
