1906/29 Swiss Military 30 Luger 7.65 mm PARA (pistol, original holster and 2 magazines), barrel length: 4.7", overall length: 9.4", weight: 33oz, capacity: 8 rds; made by Waffenfabrik Bern 1942 (produced by WFA from 1930-1947, serial # range: 50001-77941); serial # 64594, all # are matching. Special characteristics (see pictures): grip safety and frame-mounted manual safety at the left side of the gun; Swiss pistols can be identified by the Swiss federal cross above the chamber; toggle has manufacturer’s logo; receiver has nitro commercial- and Swiss Bernerprobe proof; original black grips (molded checkered plastic with manufacturer logos). This luger was always in original Swiss Army officer’s possession as sidearm in World War II and in personal military service until retirement 1983 as a colonel (marked with P at trigger guard for transfer into private ownership); and finally part of inheritance by the original owner’s family.
Excellent condition (metal, plastic parts, and leather holster; see pictures); no rust or pitting, only some minor wear and tear at the grip screws, in perfect shooting condition.
